Start and Stop Procedure Teleperm XP OM650 OM Computer
Once you have logged in, you must have the prompt ‘a01spa.txpom:’
If then,
1) execute an OM stop by the command Om.Stop e.g. a01spa.txpom: Om.Stop
2) Wait until you get back the prompt a01spa.txpom
3) Again, execute another OM stop using Om.Stop e.g. a01spa.txpom: Om.Stop
4) Repeat an Om.Stop until you get the message ‘All OM processes are stopped’ Normally, I would have to enter Om.Stop for at least 6 times for all processes to completely stop.
5) Now, restart OM processes by the command Om.Start. e.g. a01spa.txpom: Om.Start You will only need to do this once.
6) At the prompt a01spa.txpom: PL
7) Wait until all functions of a01spa are ‘akt’. Normally it takes about 6 minutes before all OM functions are running again.
8) Now, repeat the same procedure on the other PU/SU (a01spb)
9) To do this, use remote login to log on the 01spb. e.g. at a01spa.txpom: rlogin a01spbthen login as txpom with password: !!!!!!!!!! Now, you should have the prompt ‘a01spb.txpom:’ At this point, pls repeat step 1 to 5 as above.
10) Do a PL to check the status to make sure one PU (a01spa) is all ‘fue’ and the other PU (a01spb) is ‘akt’.
11) Log off from the console with command ‘exit’ until you back to the prompt ‘login’.
